Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Elias da Rocha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Didi Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Délio Peixoto put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luisão de Andrade. Júnior Matorin hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Enrique Miranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Aílton Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Délio Peixoto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Délio Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão de Andrade having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Elias da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirangussu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Diplomatas F.C. getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ramón Berger hit a great ball. Enrique Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Souza in the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pirangussu FC's zone, Délio Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisão de Andrade came out of the goal and Délio Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute Jano Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Délio Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Luisão de Andrade made a huge save. Délio Peixoto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Luisão de Andrade skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Dante to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pirangussu FC booed when Diplomatas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Snell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pirangussu FC's Luisão de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Dante in the 55th minute of play. Kauan Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Aílton Souza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enrique Miranda came out and tried to block the shot, but Aílton Souza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pelle Snell during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pelle Snell kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Diplomatas F.C. were furious when Didi Reis was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Diplomatas F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Didi Reis hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Diplomatas F.C.'s Pelle Snell got a free kick in the 75th minute. Diplomatas F.C. made a substitution. Bruninho Vidal replaced Pelle Snell. In the 84th minute Délio Peixoto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisão de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruninho Vidal hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Diplomatas F.C.'s Enrique Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias da Rocha in the 88th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Pirangussu FC's Enrique Miranda threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elias da Rocha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 96 played minutes Diplomatas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Bruninho Vidal. When the final whistle sounded Pirangussu FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Diplomatas F.C..
