Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, Urupu EC's Miguel Koehler got control of the ball when Frederico Loyola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moisés Moreno came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Urupu EC's Dadá Goiano. But to his dismay, Dadá Goiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. José Maria Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Moreno having to interfere. When Frederico Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Gremio Esportivo Brasil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico Loyola couldn't finish the play. Dadá Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Moisés Moreno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Urupu EC's goalkeeper Miguel Koehler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederico Loyola. In the 34th minute of the match Paulão Pernambucano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moisés Moreno skillfully saved the ball. José Maria Tróia took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Moisés Moreno. Moisés Moreno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Miguel Koehler made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Frederico Loyola sent off a good shot on target. Miguel Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Mendes in the 47th minute of play.

José Maria Tróia might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moisés Moreno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Maria Tróia ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Gremio Esportivo Brasil's Anselmo Leme got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Armando da Mata charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando da Mata the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th match minute, Gremio Esportivo Brasil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando da Mata to maneuver through the defense. Arí Gerber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moisés Moreno having to make a save. 62 minutes into the game, Frederico Loyola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Miguel Koehler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Urupu EC's zone, Frederico Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Koehler came out of the goal and Frederico Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Naldo Mendes notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Urupu EC's Miguel Koehler. Miguel Koehler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Mendes in the 80th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
