Acuarana's Carlos Augusto Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juarês Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Barros in the 34th minute of the match. Bernardo Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, William Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano de Souza struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Juarês Gerber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acuarana. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Luciano de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês Gerber having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, one of Acuarana:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 71 played minutes Fúria Virtual MZ got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Peres. Wellington Botelho charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Juarês Gerber came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juarês Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano de Souza in the 82nd minute of play. João Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bernardo Brasil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Acuarana got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Hames. If William Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rdth minute of the game Carlos Augusto Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fúria Virtual MZ's Juarês Gerber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. William Nóbrega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Bernardo Brasil made a huge save. William Nóbrega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When João Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Fúria Virtual MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Alcântara couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fúria Virtual MZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
