The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Oiler FC booed when CORINTHIANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Bittencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Délio Loyolas short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Luís Paulo Meira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 61st minute, Yan Valadares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldo Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Luís Paulo Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquinhos Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Moura in the 67th minute of the match. Marquinhos Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bebeto Guimarães's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Ronaldo Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Luís Paulo Meira stood somewhat misplaced when Ronaldo Messias came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 94 minute. Luís Paulo Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Messias in the 98th minute of the match. The CORINTHIANS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
