In the 5th match minute, Nato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. If Miguel Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Moura struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Lino Tepedino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capistrano SS. Nato FC's Raphael Jacinto suffered a torn muscle in his knee after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 14 minutes, Mateus Paraibano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capistrano SS and the Nato FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Capistrano SS's Mateus Paraibano got a free kick in the 15th minute. Vladimir Lopez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benê Severo. Capistrano SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Capistrano SS fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Capistrano SS's Miguel Moura looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dadá Félix might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benê Severo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dadá Félix ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Nato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Moura came free, but Lino Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nato FC's goalkeeper Lino Tepedino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Capistrano SS's Benê Severo got control of the ball when Dadá Félix tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Dadá Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nato FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dadá Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benê Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dadá Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Capistrano SS's goalkeeper Benê Severo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Paulo Teles. Miguel Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Tepedino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Gerber's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nato FC's zone, Anderson Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Tepedino came out of the goal and Anderson Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anderson Gerber to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Nato FC's Lino Tepedino got control of the ball when Miguel Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Tepedino having to interfere. If Miguel Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dadá Félix struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Benê Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nato FC. With a little luck, Nato FC's Lino Tepedino got control of the ball when Miguel Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Nato FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Agostinho Macedo hit a great ball. Miguel Mouras short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Lino Tepedino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Capistrano SS booed when Nato FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Capistrano SS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
