Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Roberto Moura started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Moura in the 4th minute of play forced Cabeleira's goalkeeper Clemente Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cabeleira's zone, Roberto Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Botelho came out of the goal and Roberto Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute, Walmir Maranhense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Madrid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Tales Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Botelho. Cabeleira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tales Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 14th match minute, Cabeleira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Cabeleira's Clemente Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Maranhense in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Walmir Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Walmir Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tales Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Clemente Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cabeleira's goalkeeper Clemente Botelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Roberto Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Botelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ricardo Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Haroldo Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabeleira. Dedê Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 42 minutes, Nestor da Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Madrid and the Cabeleira players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Nestor da Cunha hit a great ball. A hard shot by João Adolfo Silva from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Haroldo Alves's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cabeleira's Ramiro Barreto suffered a concussion after 44 minutes and had to leave the field. When Carlos Fernando Sabóia fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Madrid's protests and gave Carlos Fernando Sabóia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, Real Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. Real Madrid's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when João Adolfo Silva scored to the left of an out of position Haroldo Alves, making the score, 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Pimenta to make the kick off. In the 62ndth minute of the game Roberto Moura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cabeleira's Clemente Botelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Walmir Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Botelho having to interfere. Luís Paulo Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Walmir Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute, Dedê Meirelles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Botelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. After having played for 81 minutes, Ricardo Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabeleira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Real Madrid's Haroldo Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Pimenta in the 84th minute of play. Ricardo Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Cabeleira's Luís Paulo Brodel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haroldo Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. If Tales Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Cabeleira's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Maranhense came free, but Clemente Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Tales Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Tales Barreto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Real Madrid could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cabeleira throughout the match.
