Haroldo Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dedê Meirelles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Benê Severo made a huge save. In the 32nd match minute, Real Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, Capistrano SS's Mateus Paraibano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Haroldo Alves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Capistrano SS reached it.
