Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when José Lima got the match started through his kick off. Digo Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Mattos in the 4th minute of play. Reynaldo Chaves's late challenge caught a Namogui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Chaves helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Reynaldo Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Osvaldo Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ibiracu AD's Michel dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Secco in the 13th minute of play. Michel dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Martinez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ibiracu AD's Michel dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Lima in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Abelardo Mendes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ibiracu AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Namogui the free kick. The supporters of Namogui booed when Ibiracu AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Mendes didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Augusto Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Digo Alcântara made a huge save. Digo Alcântara was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Almir Mattos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Almir Mattos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Michel dos Santos came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Namogui's Osvaldo Martinez. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Martinez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ibiracu AD's zone, José Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel dos Santos came out of the goal and José Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Mauro de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgílio Trigo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel dos Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michel dos Santos stood somewhat misplaced when Virgílio Trigo came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 58 minute. Digo Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Mattos in the 63rd minute of the match. Osvaldo Martinez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Michel dos Santos made a huge save. Joélson Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Virgílio Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Ibiracu AD's goalkeeper Michel dos Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Martinez. José Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel dos Santos having to interfere. Osvaldo Martinez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Namogui's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro de Barros came free, but Digo Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Namogui got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Quaresma. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Mendes in the 87th minute of play forced Namogui's goalkeeper Digo Alcântara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Osvaldo Martinez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Namogui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. With a little luck, Ibiracu AD's Michel dos Santos got control of the ball when Virgílio Trigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Namogui's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
