Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Virgílio Vergílio was a little too slow when Raimundo Carvalho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Raimundo Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Virgílio Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgílio Vergílio made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Celso Sá sent off a good shot on target. Celso Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes, João Francisco Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cojubim and the Bage players grew even worse after the yellow card. João Francisco Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Bage was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Samuca Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafinha Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Celso Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bage's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgílio Vergílio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st match minute, Cojubim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Zilles to maneuver through the defense. Cojubim were furious when Reinaldo Leal was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 33 minutes into the game, one of Cojubim:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 36th minute, Thiago Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Virgílio Vergílio. Cojubim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 39th minute Rafinha Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Bage's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Mendonça came free, but Samuca Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafinha Mendonça in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuca Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Bage's zone, Claudinei Zilles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuca Félix came out of the goal and Claudinei Zilles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafinha Mendonça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Oliveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuca Félix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. If Cléberson Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Rafinha Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cojubim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Jânio Cerezo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Virgílio Vergílio. Cojubim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Celso Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Bage's Samuca Félix got control of the ball when Rafinha Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Rafinha Mendonça got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 72nd play minute Rafinha Mendonça came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Samuca Félix. 2-3. In the 79th minute, Rafinha Mendonça made a precise shot to the right of Samuca Félix. Bage's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Manuel Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Samuca Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafinha Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Samuca Félix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cojubim. In the 87th minute, Rafinha Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuca Félix was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. With a little luck, Bage's Samuca Félix got control of the ball when Rafinha Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Samuca Félix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafinha Mendonça in the 96th minute.
