Manoel Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Figueiredo having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Manoel Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manoel Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Manoel Galvão fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sauva AD's Dalmo Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Lopez in the 15th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Guarizinho's goalkeeper Oséias Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardinho de Souza. In the 36th minute Duda Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute of the match, Manoel Galvão tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oséias Figueiredo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 45th play minutes Duda Lopez shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Dalmo Linhares and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half Guarizinho were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Manoel Galvão made the kick off in the second half. When Sauva AD's Ricardinho de Souza in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guarizinho's goalie prevented a goal. Duda Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Linhares having to interfere. Oséias Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oséias Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardinho de Souza's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes Guarizinho got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Guerra. Duda Lopez struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Dalmo Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guarizinho. In the 72nd match minute, Sauva AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Galvão to maneuver through the defense. Duda Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Duda Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guarizinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Duda Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Linhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ricardinho de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manoel Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Oséias Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Duda Lopez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Manoel Galvão struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Oséias Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauva AD. Ricardinho de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Figueiredo having to interfere. The Guarizinho players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
