Guarizinho's Oséias Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Sá in the 31st minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Bage's Oséias Figueiredo threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raimundo Carvalho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Oséias Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Jerônimo Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celso Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuca Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséias Figueiredo having to interfere. Sidney Araújo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuca Félix. Bage's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Duda Lopez in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuca Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Bage getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Eusébio Quintal hit a great ball. When Guarizinho's Basílio Carvalho in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bage's goalie prevented a goal. If Duda Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséias Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Carvalho in the 78th minute of play. Basílio Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuca Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Bage's Celso Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
