Ediberto Duarte made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Arlindo Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Garcia in the 18th minute of play forced 7k FC's goalkeeper Jano Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jano Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Guimarães in the 22nd minute of play. When Arlindo Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the 7k FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arlindo Carneiro couldn't finish the play. In the 28th match minute, 7k FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz Meireles to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Arnaldo Brasil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jano Salles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Garcia in the 34th minute of play forced 7k FC's goalkeeper Jano Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to 7k FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Pedro Luiz Meireles hit a great ball. 7k FC's Jano Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz Peres in the 37th minute of play. After 43 minutes of play 7k FC's Pedro Luiz Meireles was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Pedro Luiz Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Conrado Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sílvio Luiz Peres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Renatinho Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to 7k FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Arlindo Carneiro hit a great ball. Conrado Garcia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Jano Salles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldo Fernandes during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes 7k FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Fernandes. Conrado Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jano Salles made a huge save. After 64 played minutes Jeritaco EC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luiz Peres. Jeritaco EC's Ediberto Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renatinho Valle in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Jeritaco EC defense, Renatinho Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ediberto Duarte. The Jeritaco EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ediberto Duarte should have stopped the shot. Jano Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Jano Salles made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Conrado Garcia sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Peres in the 76th minute of play forced 7k FC's goalkeeper Jano Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, one of 7k FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for 7k FC. Arnaldo Brasil shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Sílvio Luiz Peres fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jeritaco EC's protests and gave Sílvio Luiz Peres a yellow card for diving instead. Sílvio Luiz Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Amílton Vaz succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. 7k FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Jeritaco EC for much of the match.
