Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Bezerra started the match with the kick off. Jorge Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Bezerra in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Válter de Alcântara saved America Mg from getting behind. Válter de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Diego Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Válter de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Cunha in the 27th minute of play. If Diego Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter de Alcântara having to interfere. Válter de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Bezerra in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. Diego Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Válter de Alcântara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to America Mg getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Marcus Amorim hit a great ball. Jorge Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Válter de Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter de Alcântara having to interfere. Orlando Catarinense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Meireles having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Orlando Catarinense managed to get in a good position for a shot. America Mg's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Catarinense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Meireles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 74 minutes, Diego Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Percos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Bezerra in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Válter de Alcântara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Diego Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Percos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Cunha couldn't finish the play. Diego Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Jorge Bezerra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Válter de Alcântara. Jorge Bezerra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Percos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
