Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agostinho Duarte in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Romero saved Clube Atlético Paulista from getting behind. In the 8th minute Nuno Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carapebas's Oscar Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Messias came free, but Alessandro Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Cido Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match, Nuno Carioca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fred Maranhense saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nuno Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nuno Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Clube Atlético Paulista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Carioca couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Agostinho Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alessandro Romero was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. If Agostinho Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 minutes, Cido Cearense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atlético Paulista and the Carapebas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cido Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Agostinho Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Alessandro Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Clube Atlético Paulista's Alessandro Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Messias in the 55th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Carapebas got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Botelho. Nuno Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Oscar Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Rafael Miranda notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Carapebas's Fred Maranhense. Fred Maranhense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Agostinho Duarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alessandro Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agostinho Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head. After 83 played minutes Oscar Messias rounded Clube Atlético Paulista's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. After 90 played minutes Clube Atlético Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Cido Cearense. 91 minutes into the match, Carapebas's Luís Fábio Diniz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Agostinho Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Alessandro Romero made a huge save. If Rafael Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Carapebas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
