Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Caipu's Luiz Fernando Reis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Rafael de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 5 minutes, Tiaguinho do Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caipu and the Policratas F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Caipu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Moisés Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico Salgado's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Jardel Saraiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Policratas F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Frederico Salgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moisés Lara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico Salgado ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the match, Policratas F.C's Frederico Salgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moisés Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frederico Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moisés Lara having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni Leme in the 37th minute of play forced Caipu's goalkeeper Moisés Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes, Edmílson Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Policratas F.C and the Caipu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Policratas F.C! The goalkeeper, Romeu Jacinto, was totally fooled by Caipu's Iuri Mesquita, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Caipu's zone, Frederico Salgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Lara came out of the goal and Frederico Salgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frederico Salgado to make the kick off. Geovanni Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belmiro Faustino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romeu Jacinto. Policratas F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Frederico Salgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moisés Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Caipu's zone, Magno de Godoy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moisés Lara came out of the goal and Magno de Godoy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Reis in the 64th minute of play forced Policratas F.C's goalkeeper Romeu Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magno de Godoy hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Magno de Godoy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Policratas F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caipu the free kick. After 68 played minutes Policratas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Magno de Godoy. Frederico Salgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moisés Lara having to make a save. Jardel Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Moisés Lara made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Jardel Saraiva sent off a good shot on target. After 81 played minutes Frederico Salgado rounded Caipu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael de Castro in the 99th minute of play forced Policratas F.C's goalkeeper Romeu Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Policratas F.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Caipu.
