In the 25th minute of the match, Júlio Leite tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zé Roberto Pontes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Prevenido SS getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Caco Proença hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Júlio Leite in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Roberto Pontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the last second Zé Roberto Pontes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Júlio Leite in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Putinga getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Valdo Guedes hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júlio Leite got free with Zé Roberto Pontes in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Prevenido SS's Silvério Faria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Filipe Queirós. That made the score 1-2 after 52 minutes of play. Filipe Queirós came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Prevenido SS's Luiz Fernando Alvarenga. But to his dismay, Luiz Fernando Alvarenga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júlio Leite during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Júlio Leite hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Filipe Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvério Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Roberto Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júlio Leite went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After 72 played minutes Prevenido SS got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Rosa. 74 minutes into the game, Jardel Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Putinga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prevenido SS the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Putinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. If Caco Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Fernando Alvarenga took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filipe Queirós. Filipe Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 87th minute, Valdo Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, Júlio Leite notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Prevenido SS's Zé Roberto Pontes. Zé Roberto Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
