In the 6th minute Glauco Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juvenal Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir de Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 played minutes Mec Machine got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo de Medeiros. A collision led to Mec Machine getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Faustão Rocha hit a great ball. Guilherme Eger charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 30 played minutes Mec Machine got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir de Almeida. 32 minutes into the match, Mec Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Queirós came free, but Oswaldo da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir de Almeida in the 35th minute of play forced Ingrata's goalkeeper Juvenal Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Jean Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot by Manfredo Arruda from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Oswaldo da Costa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jean Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Oswaldo da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vladimir de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Maciel having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play Ingrata's Manfredo Arruda was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Mec Machine booed when Ingrata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juvenal Maciel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luizinho Torres. Jonas Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mec Machine's zone, Josué Motta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswaldo da Costa came out of the goal and Josué Motta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oswaldo da Costa came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Ingrata's Josué Motta. But to his dismay, Josué Motta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. There was no doubt that Ingrata were the better team. Ingrata's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
