Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Hawaii FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Paulo Valadares. After 5 minutes, Agnaldo Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hawaii FC and the Barretina players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Ceresso in the 6th minute of play forced Hawaii FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Durval Quirino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Augusto Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hawaii FC's Agnaldo Perez got a free kick in the 12th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Barretina's Raphael dos Santos tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. During the 15th minute of the match Agnaldo Perez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Agnaldo Perez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Agnaldo Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Jeferson Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Augusto Maia fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hawaii FC's protests and gave Augusto Maia a yellow card for diving instead. Luiz Paulo Valadares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Teodoro Salgado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gilson Brasil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durval Quirino in the 26th minute of the match. Augusto Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilson Brasil having to interfere. When Zé Pedro Vianna fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barretina's protests and gave Zé Pedro Vianna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Barretina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Pedro Vianna to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match Genílson Rezende sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilson Brasil skillfully saved the ball. Teodoro Salgado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeferson Ceresso's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Jeferson Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Barretina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeferson Ceresso couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Luiz Paulo Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barretina's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo Valadares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 58 minutes into the game, Jeferson Ceresso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Teodoro Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hawaii FC's Teodoro Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Ceresso in the 66th minute of play. Luiz Paulo Valadares took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Salgado. Teodoro Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Teodoro Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Valadares in the 71st minute of play. When Jeferson Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Barretina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeferson Ceresso couldn't finish the play. Barretina's Luiz Paulo Valadares got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Barretina's Gilson Brasil got control of the ball when Durval Quirino tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Barretina's Henrique Arruda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Zé Pedro Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute Jeferson Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Hawaii FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo Valadares came free, but Teodoro Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hawaii FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
