Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ricardo Freire made the kick off and thus started the match. Carlos Fernando Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Proença having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Pereira got free with Dé Castro in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Freire in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovanni Proença saved Guaxindiba from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Fernando Moura in the 18th minute of play forced Guaxindiba's goalkeeper Giovanni Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Chiquinho Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dé Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Ricardo Freire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Giovanni Proença was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Giovanni Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carlos Fernando Moura came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Biquinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Fernando Moura couldn't finish the play. Alan Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dé Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Biquinha getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Fabiano Lopes hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Luiz Baptista during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, André Luiz Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Giovanni Proença showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Alan Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Castro having to interfere. When Chiquinho Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Guaxindiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chiquinho Araújo couldn't finish the play. Fabiano Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Alan Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Giovanni Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Freire in the 60th minute of play. Ivo de Andrade's late challenge caught a Biquinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivo de Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. Biquinha's attack was well implemented in the 62nd minute, but when Ricardo Freire was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Freire in the 67th minute of play forced Guaxindiba's goalkeeper Giovanni Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Biquinha's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Pereira came free, but Dé Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Biquinha's zone, Alan Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dé Castro came out of the goal and Alan Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alan Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Castro having to interfere. When Chiquinho Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Guaxindiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chiquinho Araújo couldn't finish the play. Alan Pereira might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dé Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alan Pereira ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute, Chiquinho Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Guaxindiba players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
