After 4 played minutes Coritiba Foot Ball Club got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Nóbrega. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Arnaldo Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Prata in the 9th minute of play forced Valaraukar F. C.'s goalkeeper 温崇思 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Nildo Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Arnaldo Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valaraukar F. C.'s 温崇思 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Prata in the 24th minute of play. Arnaldo Prata struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. 温崇思 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coritiba Foot Ball Club. In the 28th minute, Arnaldo Prata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coritiba Foot Ball Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Mané Pernambucano got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 31 played minutes Valaraukar F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Rosado. Hermínio Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Rosado in the 36th minute of the match. If Douglas Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 温崇思 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yan Gerber went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

58 minutes into the match, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Rosado came free, but Hermínio Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Douglas Rosado made a precise shot to the right of Hermínio Teixeira. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After 62 played minutes Valaraukar F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Douglas Rosado. If Arnaldo Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Coritiba Foot Ball Club getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mané Pernambucano hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Serafim Couto made a precise shot to the right of Hermínio Teixeira. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After 76 played minutes Valaraukar F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Couto. If Mané Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute Douglas Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermínio Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 86 minutes, Serafim Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valaraukar F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafim Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Teixeira having to interfere. Douglas Rosado might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hermínio Teixeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglas Rosado ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Douglas Rosado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermínio Teixeira. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Douglas Rosado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Hermínio Teixeira came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Valaraukar F. C.'s Douglas Rosado. But to his dismay, Douglas Rosado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Valaraukar F. C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
