Benjamin Valladares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severino Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Ademar Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Bueno having to interfere. Norberto Chaves hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Kaká Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reliquia SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Severino Bueno managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Tokyo Manji Gang's Acácio Matos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
