Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Armandinho Montenegro took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Eusébio Pires had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo do Vale. Celestes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusébio Pires was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Celestes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Paraense came free, but Arnaldo do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Leonel Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luiz Eduardo Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Celestes FC's Arnaldo do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Pires in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Montenegro in the 27th minute of play forced Sucuarana EC's goalkeeper Ernesto Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Eusébio Pires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo do Vale was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Armandinho Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Faria having to interfere. The Sucuarana EC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Sucuarana EC's Eusébio Pires looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th minute, Armandinho Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Luiz Eduardo Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusébio Pires took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo do Vale. Arnaldo do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 46th minute, Eusébio Pires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusébio Pires to strike the kick off in the second half. If Armandinho Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Pombal hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Nildo Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Celestes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nildo Baiano couldn't finish the play. After having played for 65 minutes, Eusébio Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sucuarana EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonel Paraense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Arnaldo do Vale made a huge save. Armandinho Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ernesto Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sucuarana EC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Aníbal de Andrade hit a great ball. Nildo Baiano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ernesto Faria. Sucuarana EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sucuarana EC's zone, Andrézinho Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Faria came out of the goal and Andrézinho Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sucuarana EC's Ernesto Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armandinho Montenegro in the 84th minute of play. If Armandinho Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armandinho Montenegro in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Faria saved Sucuarana EC from getting behind. Ernesto Faria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luiz Eduardo Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Magno Ceresso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sucuarana EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Celestes FC the free kick. Magno Ceresso hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
