Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edvaldo Damião made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 3 minutes, Jairo Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MACUMBA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Urbano in the 6th minute of play forced MACUMBA F.C.'s goalkeeper Pedro Luís Souto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Pedro Luís Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the MACUMBA F.C. defense, Edvaldo Damião kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luís Souto. The MACUMBA F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luís Souto should have stopped the shot. Pedro Luís Souto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Seco in the 14th minute of the match. Fernando Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hortêncio Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hortêncio Furtado came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by MACUMBA F.C.'s Jairo Paiva. But to his dismay, Jairo Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Pedro Luís Souto came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by MecX's Joel Seco. But to his dismay, Joel Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Edvaldo Damião came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the MecX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvaldo Damião couldn't finish the play. Marco Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Joel Seco notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of MACUMBA F.C.'s Pedro Luís Souto. Pedro Luís Souto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Fernando Cruz made the kick off in the second half. If Fernando Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Jairo Paiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvaldo Damião who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Pedro Luís Souto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alan Vale was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in MACUMBA F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Seco in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luís Souto saved MACUMBA F.C. from getting behind. When Osvaldinho Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the MecX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldinho Urbano couldn't finish the play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, MecX's Edvaldo Damião nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Luís Souto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5.
