Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Genílson Quaresma kicked off to start the match. Osvaldinho Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Gloria's Paulo Veiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hortêncio Furtado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 13 minutes, Joel Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MecX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 20 played minutes Gloria got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Prado. Gloria's Elói Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Lopes in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, MecX's Joel Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elói Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hortêncio Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Edvaldo Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MecX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvaldo Damião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edvaldo Damião in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elói Berger saved Gloria from getting behind. Osvaldinho Urbano struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Elói Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MecX. Alexsandro Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Osvaldinho Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the MecX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldinho Urbano couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edvaldo Damião made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Edvaldo Damião notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gloria's Elói Berger. Elói Berger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvaldo Damião couldn't finish the play. Edvaldo Damião could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Elói Berger made a huge save. When Edvaldo Damião came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the MecX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvaldo Damião couldn't finish the play. A collision led to MecX getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Osvaldinho Urbano hit a great ball. Elói Berger made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Edvaldo Damião sent off a good shot on target. Edvaldo Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Berger having to interfere.
