Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cristalandia AD's Luciano Carioca got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Vítor Andrade hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cristalandia AD's goalkeeper Caco Tepedino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cássio Viana made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when João Adolfo Valle sent off a good shot on target. Cristalandia AD's Rui Romero shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cássio Viana but with some difficulty. In the 18th minute, Percival Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zdzislaw Poniewaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caco Tepedino came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mesota EC's Percival Neto. But to his dismay, Percival Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cristalandia AD's Caco Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Freire in the 27th minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Silveira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cássio Viana. Mesota EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Carioca in the 33rd minute of play forced Mesota EC's goalkeeper Cássio Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Cristóvão Secco notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cristalandia AD's Caco Tepedino. Caco Tepedino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the game, Mesota EC's Cristóvão Secco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Caco Tepedino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 43 minutes into the match, Cristalandia AD's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Acuña came free, but Caco Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cristalandia AD's Marcelo Brodel got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zdzislaw Poniewaz made a kick off. If Zdzislaw Poniewaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Adolfo Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cássio Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Carioca in the 66th minute of the match. Luciano Carioca succeeded in the game's 67th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Caco Tepedino made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Cristóvão Secco sent off a good shot on target. Caco Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Poniewaz in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Carioca in the 77th minute of play forced Mesota EC's goalkeeper Cássio Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Cristalandia AD's goalkeeper Caco Tepedino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristóvão Secco. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
