Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Matheus Campidelis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Geovani Moura made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matías Gaspar in the 3rd minute. Geovani Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Campidelis in the 9th minute of the match. Geovani Moura was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matías Gaspar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Matías Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Geovani Moura made a huge save. Geovani Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Campidelis in the 18th minute of play. If Matheus Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Gaspar in the 29th minute of play forced Os Nefilins's goalkeeper Geovani Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovani Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Os Nefilins's Guga Paiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Joeirana's zone, Inácio Coelho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Leite came out of the goal and Inácio Coelho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marco Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giovani do Valle to strike the kick off in the second half. Erik Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Severo in the 51st minute of play. If João Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Augusto Mattos lost his temper 61 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Iuri Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joeirana's supporters rose to their feet, but Iuri Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovani Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Giovani do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guga Paiva in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Os Nefilins's Giovani do Valle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erik Leite. That made the score 1-2 after 72 minutes of play. Giovani do Valle struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Erik Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Os Nefilins. In the 78th minute, Giovani do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Joeirana's goalkeeper Erik Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Joeirana booed when Os Nefilins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Joeirana's Iuri Cordeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovani Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joeirana's Erik Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Furtado in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Os Nefilins left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Joeirana.
