Leque FC's Vinícius Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado de Queirós in the 19th minute of play. Breno de Mendonça was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. When Luís Passos fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taracua's protests and gave Luís Passos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Leque FC booed when Taracua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márcio Furtado got free with Zé Tasso in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Leque FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Leque FC's Márcio Furtado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 33 minutes into the match, Taracua's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Furtado came free, but Zé Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Márcio Furtado to make the kick off. Leque FC were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Taracua's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valdo Vidal took the corner. 55 minutes into the match, Taracua's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Furtado came free, but Zé Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Márcio Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Tasso having to interfere. Zé Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Márcio Furtado's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Márcio Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taracua's Zé Tasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Taracua booed when Leque FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Passos hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Evaristo Abreu's late challenge caught a Taracua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaristo Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. Evaristo Abreu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Orlando Simão was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Valdo Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Taracua's zone, Nelsinho Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Tasso came out of the goal and Nelsinho Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head.
