In the 72ndth minute of the game Bebeto Recife who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacaresinho's Erasmo Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Frédson Paraibano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rui Ceresso. Erasmo Castro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bebeto Recife showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 100 minute of play. The Chalana SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chalana SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
