Isaltino Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 6 played minutes Nilmar Furlan could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. 8 minutes into the game, Nilmar Furlan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Nestor Linares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nilmar Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Linares having to interfere. Nestor Linares made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Isaltino Lopez sent off a good shot on target. Juventude Luterana's Nestor Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Furlan in the 20th minute of play. Isaltino Lopez struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Nestor Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibitiuva. If Nilmar Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nestor Linares was a little too slow when Nilmar Furlan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 3-0. Ibitiuva's Nilmar Furlan got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Juventude Luterana's zone, Nilmar Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Linares came out of the goal and Nilmar Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Ibitiuva's Isaltino Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Linares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Isaltino Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilmar Furlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Linares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nilmar Furlan ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Geovânio Pena made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilmar Furlan in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Linares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 55 minutes, Geovânio Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventude Luterana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geovânio Pena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nilmar Furlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Isaltino Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Juventude Luterana's zone, Nilmar Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Linares came out of the goal and Nilmar Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74th play minutes Nilmar Furlan shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Nestor Linares and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 78th minute Vitório Custódio suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 79 minutes into the game, Henrique das Neves was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventude Luterana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibitiuva the free kick. After a rather tough play, Juventude Luterana's Henrique das Neves got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 82 minutes of play, Ibitiuva's Felipe Aparecido made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nestor Linares was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Isaltino Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Lopez in the 96th minute of play forced Juventude Luterana's goalkeeper Nestor Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ibitiuva fully deserved thier win.
