A collision led to Subauma SS getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Erik Diniz hit a great ball. Subauma SS's Roger Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Barbosa in the 7th minute of play. Roger Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Barbosa in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 12 minutes, Bernardinho de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Subauma SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardinho de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Renato Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Carneiro was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Erik Diniz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Renato Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Carneiro having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Válbson da Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Carneiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When Bernardinho de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Subauma SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardinho de Sena couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Subauma SS booed when Enjeitado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Diniz charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Diniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th minute, Erik Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renato Barbosa to make the kick off. Tomás Zilles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Valdemar Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Subauma SS's Tomás Zilles in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Enjeitado's goalie prevented a goal. In the 54th minute, Renato Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Renato Barbosa, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 57 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Roger Carneiro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 60th minute Renato Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson da Cunha in the 61st minute of play forced Subauma SS's goalkeeper Roger Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enjeitado's Renato Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renato Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renato Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Roger Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st match minute, Enjeitado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Marquez to maneuver through the defense. When Bernardinho de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Subauma SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardinho de Sena couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Subauma SS's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Barbosa came free, but Roger Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Zilles in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Tomás Zilles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Subauma SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Zilles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Enjeitado players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
