With a little luck, Felisburgo SC's José Pedro Prado got control of the ball when Egídio Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 5 played minutes Ipueiras got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Carioca. Jefferson Coutinho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alan Rosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmo Alcântara went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute Dalmo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ipueiras getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Elias Meirelles hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Enéas Aparecido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Alan Rosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute, Patrick Mattos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Norberto Furtado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alan Rosa was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. José Pedro Prado was a little too slow when Egídio Dracena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 35th minute Enéas Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ipueiras's zone, Dalmo Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Rosa came out of the goal and Dalmo Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Porto charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélder Porto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hélder Porto hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Alan Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Felisburgo SC's Dalmo Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Felisburgo SC's José Pedro Prado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Dracena in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Egídio Dracena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. José Pedro Prado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alan Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. When Patrick Mattos came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ipueiras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Mattos couldn't finish the play. Enéas Aparecido who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Alan Rosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 71 minutes, Enéas Aparecido made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Ipueiras's Alan Rosa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Norberto Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Felisburgo SC's protests and gave Norberto Furtado a yellow card for diving instead.
