Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Edmílson Arce started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Edmílson Arce came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Aba F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Arce couldn't finish the play. In the 14thth minute of the game Edmílson Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapore's Rômulo Fonseca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmílson Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernandinho da Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Fonseca having to interfere. Fernandinho da Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rômulo Fonseca having to make a save. Aba F.C.'s Edmílson Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rômulo Fonseca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmílson Arce's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Fernandinho da Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fernandinho da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Aba F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandinho da Costa couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Edmílson Arce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rômulo Fonseca was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The Aba F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Aba F.C.'s Edmílson Arce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Alberto Pena made a kick off. Edmílson Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Fonseca having to interfere. If Fernandinho da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltazar Romero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rômulo Fonseca having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Pedro Salgado during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 0-3 came through a penalty shot after 66 played minutes, when Aba F.C.:s Baltazar Romero calmly waited for Itapore:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Fernandinho da Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rômulo Fonseca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. When Edmílson Arce came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Aba F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Arce couldn't finish the play. Allan Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Itapore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Batista to maneuver through the defense. Rômulo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Itapore's Rômulo Fonseca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Hedin in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Edmílson Arce fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rômulo Fonseca, passed just outside the right post. The attack was good, but when Edmílson Arce in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Rodrigo Proença received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Nuno Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aba F.C. played a much better game than Itapore and deserved their victory. The Itapore players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
