Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Charles Silva kicked off to start the match. Sucessores AD's Virgílio Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Leite in the 7th minute of play. Flavinho Abraão's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Josué Campidelis firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Ipanema FC's zone, Flavinho Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Campidelis came out of the goal and Flavinho Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fernão Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipanema FC's protests and gave Fernão Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sucessores AD booed when Ipanema FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernão Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sucessores AD! The referee gave Ipanema FC a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Donato Montenegro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sucessores AD's Virgílio Peixoto. 0-1. Josué Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Silva in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, one of Sucessores AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sucessores AD. Sucessores AD:s Virgílio Peixoto showed great skill when he stopped Donato Montenegro:s penalty. Virgílio Peixoto came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ipanema FC's Donato Montenegro. But to his dismay, Donato Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 32ndth minute of the game Rafa Breckenfeld who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sucessores AD's Virgílio Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute, Olavo Leite left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ipanema FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Flavinho Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sucessores AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavinho Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Campidelis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jean Leite got free with Josué Campidelis in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernão Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Sucessores AD's Flavinho Abraão in 45 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Josué Campidelis guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. 46 minutes into the match, Ipanema FC's goalkeeper Josué Campidelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavinho Abraão. The Sucessores AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ipanema FC were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olavo Leite made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Rafa Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ipanema FC and the Sucessores AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes Ipanema FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Breckenfeld. Flavinho Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Campidelis having to interfere. Guga Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Geovanni Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Guga Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sucessores AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guga Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flavinho Abraão struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Josué Campidelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sucessores AD. Flavinho Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Flavinho Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Sucessores AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavinho Abraão couldn't finish the play. After having played for 88 minutes, Flavinho Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sucessores AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavinho Abraão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 89 played minutes Ipanema FC got a freekick which was hit by Ademir Proença. Although Sucessores AD had been in control for most of the match, Ipanema FC still came away with the win.
