BELO PASSE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Ladio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 16 played minutes, BELO PASSE FC's César Mello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Josué Campidelis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BELO PASSE FC reached it. Luiz de Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafa Breckenfeld in the 24th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, BELO PASSE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Breckenfeld came free, but Luiz de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of BELO PASSE FC booed when Ipanema FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernão Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd match minute, BELO PASSE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilson Moraes to maneuver through the defense.
