Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sérgio Saldanha started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Beto Leal charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beto Leal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cacá do Nascimento got free with Anselmo Moraes in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, MERCOPLASA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Charles de Toledo came free, but Erik Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Trigo in the 20th minute of the match. Charles de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Erik Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bucarest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Trigo in the 24th minute of play forced MERCOPLASA F.C's goalkeeper Erik Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charles de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Erik Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bucarest. Edu Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gernando Marinho charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gernando Marinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes MERCOPLASA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Marinho. Anselmo Moraes was a little too slow when Sérgio Saldanha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Edu Trigo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Erik Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Bucarest. Erik Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Raphael Linares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Moraes having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edu Trigo was the one to do the kick off. MERCOPLASA F.C's Erik Breckenfeld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Trigo in the 52nd minute of play. Charles de Toledo had several of the MERCOPLASA F.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Erik Breckenfeld as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edu Trigo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Breckenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, SC Bucarest's Duda Figueiredo got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Sérgio Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Erik Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Edu Trigo took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Erik Breckenfeld to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to SC Bucarest getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Beto Leal hit a great ball. If Cacá do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles de Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Edu Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Bucarest's supporters rose to their feet, but Edu Trigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edu Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Erik Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cacá do Nascimento came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the MERCOPLASA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cacá do Nascimento couldn't finish the play. Raphael Linares's late challenge caught a SC Bucarest's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Linares helped the player get up and apologised. Raphael Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The MERCOPLASA F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SC Bucarest were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
