The supporters of Cantofe SC booed when Paratory SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Cantofe SC's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Medeiros came free, but Nestor de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Augusto Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nestor de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Augusto Carneiro in the 19th minute of the match. José Augusto Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor de Azevedo having to interfere. Fred Furlan charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Furlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Geraldo Toscano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cantofe SC's Nestor de Azevedo didn't even have to move. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paratory SC reached it. When Acácio Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Paratory SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Acácio Medeiros couldn't finish the play. Acácio Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Acácio Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Augusto Carneiro got free with Nestor de Azevedo in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 96 played minutes, Paratory SC's Alfredinho de Amaral shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nestor de Azevedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paratory SC reached it. The Cantofe SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paratory SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
