In the 8th minute, Chiquinho Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Itaquarai FC's Tiago Gabriel Bastos got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tiaguinho Araújo's late challenge caught a PiorTimeFc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiaguinho Araújo helped the player get up and apologised. Joel Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Cavalcante in the 13th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Itaquarai FC's Tomé Pombal threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victor Abraão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th minute, Roberto Bezerra made a precise shot to the right of Joel Furlan. Itaquarai FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Itaquarai FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Túlio Santana hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match, Ulysses Meirelles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tomé Pombal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 31 played minutes PiorTimeFc got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Romero. PiorTimeFc's Tomé Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Bastos in the 39th minute of play. Roberto Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Furlan having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Itaquarai FC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Abraão. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Gabriel Bastos to make the kick off. Raúl Dantas charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Dantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tiago Gabriel Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Bezerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joel Furlan having to make a save. Itaquarai FC's Tiago Gabriel Bastos pulled a muscle in his back after 57 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Almir Veloso during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to PiorTimeFc getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Almir Veloso hit a great ball. Victor Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Marcel Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PiorTimeFc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 played minutes Itaquarai FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Freitas. 79 minutes in the game, Marcel Cavalcante fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Joel Furlan having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Victor Abraão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itaquarai FC and the PiorTimeFc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Itaquarai FC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Abraão. PiorTimeFc's Fabinho de Amaral shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joel Furlan but with some difficulty. 88 minutes into the match, Itaquarai FC's goalkeeper Joel Furlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Bezerra. A collision led to Itaquarai FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Victor Abraão hit a great ball. PiorTimeFc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fabinho de Amaral in the 92nd minute. The corner ended in Fabinho de Amaral almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Itaquarai FC's Joel Furlan did a great save. Joel Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Cavalcante in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PiorTimeFc eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
