Chiquinho Dias was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Walmyr da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Gabriel Bastos in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Vianna in the 12th minute of play forced Itaquarai FC's goalkeeper Joel Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Bruninho Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cacuria SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Cacuria SS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Patrício Leme hit a great ball. Walmyr da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulysses Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, Cacuria SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Ulysses Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmyr da Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cacuria SS defense, Ulysses Meirelles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walmyr da Rocha. The Cacuria SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmyr da Rocha should have stopped the shot. Joel Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Vianna in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Cacuria SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrício Leme to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Gabriel Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Walmyr da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmyr da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Gabriel Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renan Vianna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Ulysses Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr da Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Gabriel Bastos's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Cacuria SS's Walmyr da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Bastos in the 57th minute of play. Walmyr da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Gabriel Bastos in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Cacuria SS's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Bastos came free, but Walmyr da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Itaquarai FC's Tiago Gabriel Bastos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walmyr da Rocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cacuria SS's players were relieved. 71 minutes into the game, Tiago Gabriel Bastos lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Walmyr da Rocha. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ulysses Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itaquarai FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulysses Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmyr da Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute Renan Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tiago Gabriel Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Bastos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaquarai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Gabriel Bastos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Itaquarai FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cacuria SS.
