In the 13th minute, João Carlos Valle made a precise shot to the right of Percy Mattos. Camassandi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Camassandi getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ricardo Lara hit a great ball. Tomás Ferraz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percy Mattos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. When João Carlos Valle, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 20 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Percy Mattos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Camassandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Percy Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Valle in the 22nd minute of the match. Percy Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Luciano Faustino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camassandi's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Faustino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remo Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Percy Mattos made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Tomás Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. Luciano Faustino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Linda's Tomás Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Linda's João Carlos Valle in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Camassandi's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Linda eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
