João Paulo Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Percy Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Paulo Pirani in the 16th minute of play forced Camassandi's goalkeeper Percy Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, Camassandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Lara to maneuver through the defense. Percy Mattos was a little too slow when João Paulo Pirani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Percy Mattos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Paulo Pirani's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Salvador City's João Paulo Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gualter Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Percy Mattos made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Camassandi's goal looked a bit too open when João Paulo Pirani came free, but Percy Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Paulo Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diamantino Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Percy Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Faustino to strike the kick off in the second half. When Gualter Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Salvador City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualter Furtado couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Camassandi's zone, Gualter Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percy Mattos came out of the goal and Gualter Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gualter Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Percy Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador City's Gualter Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Paulo Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gualter Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Mattos having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Paulo Pirani in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percy Mattos saved Camassandi from getting behind. If Gualter Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Beto Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valdemar Veloso in the 96th minute. Dedê de Almeida's late challenge caught a Salvador City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedê de Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. Dedê de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Diamantino Seco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 100th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Percy Mattos. Camassandi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Salvador City had played much better football throughout.
