Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zé Paulo Diniz got the match started through his kick off. A hard shot 4 in the game by Luiz Fabiano Barbosa from a close distance when the talented Váldson Montenegro managed to make a qualified save. Drakko FC's players were relieved. 6 minutes into the game, one of Drakko FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Gomaticum a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mazinho Souto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Drakko FC's Váldson Montenegro. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Brasil during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduardo Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Cipriano Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lucas Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Paranaense in the 23rd minute of play forced Gomaticum's goalkeeper Lucas Paraibano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Paulo Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Drakko FC's Cipriano Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Paulo Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Paraibano having to interfere. Váldson Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Barbosa in the 38th minute. If Luiz Fabiano Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gomaticum's Lucas Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Paranaense in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Délio Soares made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Gomaticum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Marinho to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Délio Soares in the 54th minute of play forced Drakko FC's goalkeeper Váldson Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Drakko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Délio Soares came free, but Váldson Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Drakko FC's Luisinho Araújo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Váldson Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Soares in the 60th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Paulo Diniz in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Paraibano saved Gomaticum from getting behind. If Luiz Fabiano Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Váldson Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Soares in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Barbosa in the 78th minute of play forced Drakko FC's goalkeeper Váldson Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Váldson Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Délio Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Luisinho Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fabiano Barbosa in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Váldson Montenegro saved Drakko FC from getting behind. In the 82nd minute, Délio Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Paulo Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Paraibano having to interfere. The Drakko FC fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Drakko FC's Zé Paulo Diniz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luiz Fabiano Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Montenegro having to interfere. The Drakko FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Drakko FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
