Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marquinhos Veloso got the match started through his kick off. If Elder Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. He walked away shaking his head. In the 16th minute, Só Tapa Fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elder Motta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Elder Motta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Só Tapa Fc getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Edmundo Paraibano hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute Marquinhos Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marquinhos Veloso in the 23rd minute of play forced Santinho's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elder Motta to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Só Tapa Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Braga came free, but Oscar Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Só Tapa Fc's zone, Cássio Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oscar Guedes came out of the goal and Cássio Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elder Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Guedes having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Henrique Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Só Tapa Fc's Oscar Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Braga in the 73rd minute of play. Oscar Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dito Braga in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Elder Motta notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Só Tapa Fc's Oscar Guedes. Oscar Guedes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dito Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Santinho's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
