Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Túlio Fernandes made the kick off which started today's match. Marcos Meireles might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo de Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Meireles ran back to his position shaking his head. After 6 played minutes Luciano EC got a freekick which was hit by Armindo Netto. Evaristo de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Hugo de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benê Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caicara's protests and gave Benê Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Luciano EC booed when Caicara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Caicara's André Luiz Mineiro got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 17 minutes of play, Luciano EC's Túlio Fernandes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean Loureiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ronaldão Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luciano EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldão Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Caetano de Queirós's late challenge caught a Luciano EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caetano de Queirós helped the player get up and apologised. Caetano de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Jean Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Fernandes in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo de Toledo in the 36th minute of play forced Luciano EC's goalkeeper Hugo de Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Luiz Mineiro scored 1-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo de Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caicara's Jean Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Túlio Fernandes in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Anselmo Maranhense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Hugo de Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jean Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Túlio Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evaristo de Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. When Túlio Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Luciano EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Túlio Fernandes couldn't finish the play. 54 minutes into the match, Caicara's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Fernandes came free, but Jean Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 played minutes Caicara got a freekick which was hit by Benê Tavares. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Paraíba in the 57th minute of play forced Caicara's goalkeeper Jean Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Túlio Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luciano EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Túlio Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Maranhense in the 68th minute of play. Marcos Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jean Loureiro made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ronaldão Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. Cristiano Hermes's late challenge caught a Luciano EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristiano Hermes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Luciano EC booed when Caicara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Túlio Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan Guerra hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Túlio Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Túlio Fernandes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When Armando de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caicara's protests and gave Armando de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, Caicara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando de Senna to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldão Schmidt might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean Loureiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldão Schmidt ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caicara's goalkeeper Jean Loureiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronaldão Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Jean Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Caicara fans cheered their team off the field, for while Luciano EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
