In the 9th match minute, Climerio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexsandro Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. After 11 minutes, Valério Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Climerio and the Itatiba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Cunha made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Itatiba FC's Gabriel Neiva made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Linares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dionísio Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Itatiba FC's Gabriel Neiva in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Itatiba FC's Germano Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldinho Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germano Barreto struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ian Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itatiba FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Gabriel Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itatiba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Itatiba FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
