Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Zacarias Rossi's late challenge caught a Marco Véio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Palhal getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Zacarias Rossi hit a great ball. Vítor Leite blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Carlos Hoffmann having to make a save. After 16 played minutes, Palhal's Paulo Renato Linares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thomás Ramalho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Palhal reached it. In the 19th minute Vítor Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos Hoffmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oséas Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Thomás Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vítor Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Carlos Hoffmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vítor Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Fernandez lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated João Carlos Hoffmann. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonsinho Fernandez made a kick off. If Oséas Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Zonta dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thomás Ramalho, 2-1. Afonsinho Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. João Carlos Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marco Véio FC. 70 minutes into the game, Oséas Botelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Thomás Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonsinho Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sílvio Luís Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. João Carlos Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Marco Véio FC booed when Palhal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonsinho Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. João Carlos Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marco Véio FC. João Carlos Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonsinho Fernandez in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Rogério Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Véio FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
