The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Luiz Gustavo Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Roger Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luiz Gustavo Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mirando SS's Roger Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zé de Medeiros. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Roger Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind TEMPORAL's goalkeeper Zé de Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oscar Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Mirando SS getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Didi Rosa hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Gustavo Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 25th minute, Oscar Paraíba made a precise shot to the right of Matheus Penha. Mirando SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. TEMPORAL's Zé de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Favoretto in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Mirando SS's Roger Souza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé de Medeiros. Zé de Medeiros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Roger Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Lima's late challenge caught a Mirando SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Lima helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Gustavo Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to TEMPORAL getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Oscar Paraíba hit a great ball. With a little luck, TEMPORAL's Zé de Medeiros got control of the ball when Luiz Gustavo Mesquita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roger Souza made a kick off. Luís Guilherme Rossi's late challenge caught a TEMPORAL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Guilherme Rossi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TEMPORAL booed when Mirando SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Zé de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Oscar Paraíba came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the TEMPORAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Paraíba couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Gustavo Mesquita in the 73rd minute of play forced TEMPORAL's goalkeeper Zé de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Gustavo Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mirando SS's Didi Rosa got a free kick in the 77th minute. Zé de Medeiros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Souza's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Souza in the 95th minute of play forced TEMPORAL's goalkeeper Zé de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mirando SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while TEMPORAL had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
