Ricardo Lopes made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ulysses Tasso sent off a good shot on target. Armando do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Nois Travamos FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulysses Tasso. Ricardo Lopes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. 32 minutes into the game, Vladimir Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piranj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nois Travamos FC the free kick. A collision led to Piranj getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Vladimir Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piranj's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimir Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Lopes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marcos dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerson Valadares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Ricardo Lopes made a huge save. Piranj's Sydney Mineiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Piranj from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Patryk Pryla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nois Travamos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patryk Pryla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sydney Mineiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 minutes, Aloísio Barral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nois Travamos FC and the Piranj players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes, Piranj's Tales Marquez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Lopes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Piranj's Sydney Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patryk Pryla in the 64th minute of play. The audience held their breath when Wellington Mangueira in the 69th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Sydney Mineiro's left hand side. In the 72nd minute Ulysses Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nois Travamos FC's Ricardo Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Tasso in the 74th minute of play. Ulysses Tasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulysses Tasso ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Piranj's Marcos dos Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ulysses Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Lopes having to interfere. When Marcos dos Santos came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Piranj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos dos Santos couldn't finish the play. Ulysses Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos dos Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Lopes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos dos Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Piranj's Ulysses Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerson Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Piranj were the better team. Piranj's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
