Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Reynaldo Britto made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Affua's goal looked a bit too open when Custódio Carioca came free, but Claudinho Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Pedro Luiz Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani Lopes in the 8th minute of play forced Affua's goalkeeper Claudinho Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Affua's zone, Reynaldo Britto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Meireles came out of the goal and Reynaldo Britto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudinho Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernani Lopes in the 21st minute of the match. Reynaldo Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siriji's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Agostinho Vander 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Emílio Britto hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Affua's Gualter Nogueira took a good shot, in the 45th minute, which hit the crossbar above Amauri Leal's head, and flew over the goal. Siriji's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Affua. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Agostinho Vander made the kick off in the second half. Leonel Valle scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amauri Leal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ernani Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Meireles having to interfere. Reynaldo Britto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudinho Meireles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Affua's goalkeeper Claudinho Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernani Lopes.
