Brigue EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noel Braga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Brigue EC booed when Quantigua AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Custódio Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vágner Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. José Augusto Diniz's shot from long distance in the 35th minute was not bad at all, but Quantigua AD's Teodoro Nunes knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After a rather tough play, Quantigua AD's Aleandro Gomes got a free kick in the 37th minute. Clemente Leal in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Quantigua AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Frank Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brigue EC's Dráusio Quaresma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Brigue EC from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute of the match, Murilo Hames tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dráusio Quaresma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Brigue EC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Allan de Queirós hit a great ball. Bebeto Prado charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bebeto Prado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
