Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edgar de Amaral made the kick off which started today's match. Aluísio Linhares made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Oséas Meireles sent off a good shot on target. When Largo's Edgar de Amaral in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sodre EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute, Márcio Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Largo's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Freire came free, but Kléber de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Zé Paulo de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Largo's Kléber de Queiroz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gilvan Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséas Meireles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Aluísio Linhares made a huge save. If Olívio Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Freire in the 40th minute of play. Edgar de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Gilvan Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilvan Freire to make the kick off. When Sodre EC's Gilvan Freire in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Largo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute Oséas Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aluísio Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Zé Paulo de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sodre EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Paulo de Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléber de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Márcio Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Felipe Teles's late challenge caught a Largo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The Largo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Zé Paulo de Amaral did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Kléber de Queiroz 74 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute of the match Osvaldinho Massa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aluísio Linhares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Oséas Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gilvan Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86th play minutes Zé Paulo de Amaral shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Kléber de Queiroz and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Edgar de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Largo's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar de Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aluísio Linhares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Sodre EC defense, Oséas Meireles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aluísio Linhares. The Sodre EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aluísio Linhares should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Sodre EC booed when Largo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gilvan Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
